La Peņita RV Park, Highway 200, 40 miles (60 kilometers) north of Puerto Vallarta. Open November 1 to April 30. Our rates are from $500 U.S. per month or $25.00 per day. (rates subject to change). The rates are different depending on length of stay and "high season" months. Eg: November is $500 per month. If you stay one month (excluding November) it is $600. If you stay 2 months it is $550 per month, 3 months is $525 per month; 4 months or more is $500 per month. Please contact carole@lapenitarvpark.com for details. We have clean water from our own deep well, reliable electricity, pool, laundry facilities, clean restrooms with HOT water, wi-fi and limited free calling to U.S. and Canada. Cable tv is available, tent sites with kitchens. There are lots of activities and parties. We are the friendliest RV park around. Good public transportation is available. There is a bank, debit machines, many grocery and clothing stores. Lots of restaurants and taco stands. There are good dentists and doctors close by at reasonable prices. There is a market every Thursday for fresh produce and trinkets and art. Nearby you will find a 9 hole par 3 golf course where you can play a round for as little as $15.00us. The historical port of San Blas is 90 minutes north. You can still visit the site of the old town where the fort and church still stand. An afternoon spent on the river for the Jungle Cruise is very interesting. You can see how the locals live in the small villages surrounding La Penita. Puerto Vallarta is approximately 60 kms south. If you miss the big city you can easily go there. You will find major Mexican chain stores as well as Sam's Club and Walmart. Visit the historic Old Town, take a house tour or "shop till you drop". Compestella and Tepic are to the north. Both are small Mexican cities with many historic sites. Guadalajara is approximately 4 hours drive away. Lots to see and do there. |
