RV Park Christmas Dinner 2011

Residents in the park have priority for the 160 tickets in total that are available for our  annual Christmas dinner, to be held by the pool on Christmas Day.

These tickets go on sale at the office Thursday morning, December 15 and sales close at the end of business, Monday , December 19.

If space is then available, your family and friends currently residing outside the park could be accommodated. A waiting list , first come, first serve, can be created when you buy your own tickets. These extra tickets will be available as of Tuesday December 20.

Prices: Adults: 125 pesos per person (= $10!)

Children between 2 and 10 years of age: 60 pesos

Babies under 2 years: free

When buying your tickets, please select your table, using the sheet provided at the office. Tables will seat 8 people.

Note: if anyone at your table has any specific mobility limitations, please indicate when you buy your tickets so we can take this into account when setting up tables and chairs.

Buffet menu

Roast turkey with gravy and stuffing.

Ham

Vegetables: mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots, broccoli salad, tomatoes

Rolls, butter, cranberry jelly and whole cranberry sauce

Desserts: regular flan

Coffee, tea and Kahlua

We provide: Tables for 8, chairs, tablecloths and a variety of interesting door prizes

You bring: Your tickets, your personalized table decoration, (a prize will be awarded for the best by popular vote), your cutlery, tableware, glasses, coffee mugs , napkins, salt and pepper, and any “special” food or treats for your own table, such as appetizers ,pickles, condiments or desserts. Bring your own drinks.

Time

3:00 pm: area opens for decoration and setting your table

5:00 pm: cocktails, mingling and voting on table decorations

5:30 pm: buffet opens, with tables taking turns as randomly called up by MC

Throughout the evening: prize draws and music by Joe.

La Peñita RV Park is in the town of La Peñita de Jaltemba, about 60 km north of Puerto Vallarta. The park is on a hill that comes up from the beach in terraces. There are over 100 serviced RV sites. Most have views.

The park is a winter home to many RV’ers. Some have been coming for well over 20 years and spend several months. The park is very popular because we have so many resident driven activities. We have fun.
